Catch UP: First Order of Business Harry Potter

Here's the invitation to the big event.

The posters

This is the Death Eaters oustide of the Ministry of Magic. They built the entire building in the middle of Leicster Square. I was reading an article that for the Simpson's premiere they built the entire town (atleast the main places) of Springfield. I wish I could have seen that.

The Odeon where the film was premiered.

Daniel Radcliffe, Mr Harry Potter

I just put this picture in their to remind you that i walked down the same soapy green carpet as they did.

Tracy and I meeting the Weasley twins. The one next to me was Oliver.

Alright...be excited. The pictures have been loaded on my desktop. I plan on condensing them and posting them tonight.

I started it last night, but then I ended going to a Kiss party for EMAP. (KISS is one of their radio stations.) I was pretty much in Lauren heaven. Everyone I worked with was dancing, the music jumped between old school Micheal Jackson and Rap, Remixed pop songs, and the techno/house music they play on KISS.

Loves It

PS Drinks were free and I managed to catch the tube, so no N97 or cab. Everyone should drink to that.

J'adore Paris!

I went to Paris this week-end and I'm in love. Kristen and I arrived, dropped our luggage out, and headed off to the Eiffel Tour. It was gorgreous, the view was amazing.

After the Eiffel tower, we went back to the hotel and changed. We met up with the tour group that arranged our trip and went to a Caberat show. The show poked fun of itself. There were magicians, dancers, topless dancers, and comedians. It was so fun, and the venue was really cute. Also it was across the street from Moulin Rouge. How Fabulous!

The next morning we woke up early and took the Metro to the Louvre. Before we left the hotel, we decided that our goal was to see as much as we could. This decided, we chose not to go into any of the museums becuase we didn't want to wait in line.

Anyway, the Louvre used to be the French Palace, so the outside was gorgouous. After we walked around, we went to the Latin Quarter. This is where the University's of Paris are located and it has a very Parisian, less tourist feel. We found the Luxembourg gardens, which were a paradise in themselves. After an hour or so of laying in the sun, we headed to Notre Dame. The famous church is located on an island in the middle of Paris.

Next we went to the Center of Pomporo. This is a modern building that houses everythign from movie theatres to a museum to art exhibits. We went in there and looked around for about an hour. Most of the exhibits looked like a seriel killer had made them. It was interesting, and there were some cool pieces.

Kristen and I hurried and ate dinner, then caught the last boat ride on the Seine. The Eiffel tower looked amazing. The new light show was slightly gaudy but it was still beautiful, it glittered like a christmas tree.

The next morning we woke up, hurried to the Champes-Elysee and the Arc de Triumph. We looked down the street that the Allied troops rolled their tanks up, then darted off to Versailles. The palace was beautiful. Every ceiling was painted in the theme of a Grecian god. There was Gold everywhere. One hall was entirely made up of mirrors, marble statues, and crystal and silver chandeliers.

Even better then the Chalet was gardens. They were huge and amazing. We arrived in time to see all the fountains go off.

We barely made it back in time to meet the group. The train took us straight from Paris to London. We made it home by 11:30 at night.

I loved Paris, everyone was nice. Everything was beautiful. Everyperson was gorgeous. Also, it was sunny unlike London.

I'll post pictures later. After I finish Harry Potter ;)

I watch more movies in London then I ever have in America. Last night I went to the first press screening of Superbad. A teen movie that was a cross between Napolean Dynomite, Harold and Kumar, and Sixteen Candles. It was free, there was an open bar, and some models dressed up like police officers. Not bad. The movie wasn't great, but it was entertaining. Mom, you would hate it.

Also, to my parents: Mom sorry I didn't get ahold of you. I went for post-work drinks then went to the screening.

Dad, where are you? I've e-mailed you twice, and no response.

Even though its a friday, I have to go home and do laundry. I'm out of underwear, or as they say knickers. That's my exciting plans for now.
